Why An Intuitive Eating Program?

We began using this intuitive eating approach after promoting diets that caused short term weight loss, but did not work over the long haul. Also, as eating disorder nutritionists, we know first hand the damage that dieting causes.

We found intuitive eating highly effective at helping people with eating and weight struggles (including those with disordered eating, anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder) and have specialized in this approach for the past 20 years.  Intuitive eating is also called "attuned eating" or the "nondiet approach."

Karin's book, Moving Away From Diets, teaches how to implement this nondiet approach. According to Evelyn Tribole, author of the popular Intuitive Eating,  it is "a must-read resource." See what nutrition therapists and other professionals have said!
